Temperature Hit -50 Degrees in Colorado Wednesday Morning
Did you wake up with a thin layer of ice on your car this morning? Well, somewhere in Colorado, the temperature dipped a little lower...all the way down to negative 50°.
The National Weather Service in Boulder reported Wednesday, December 30, that Antero Reservoir reached -50°, tying for the 4th coldest reading observed. See the tweet below:
Antero Reservoir is located in Park County, Colorado, where temperatures eventually warmed up to -40°. Toasty. As a comparison, the temperature in Fort Collins this morning was a lovely 20° as of 10:00 a.m. this morning.
