They based the list based on how often the person was searched for in Google in each state over the last 12 months.

After looking at Google Trends, DatingAdvice.com found that Colorado's favorite ex-boyfriend of Taylor Sqift is Jake Gyllenhaal. While Jake and Taylor only dated briefly in 2010, he was the overwhelmingly favorite ex across the country. Jake was the most searched of Taylor's exes in 30 different states.
