The Christmas tree recycling is a free service, just make sure you remove any lights, string, wire, ornaments, tinsel, or fake snow before you drop it off.

I'm one of those people who cannot stand seeing someone throw trash on the ground. It's not about the environment.  It's about lazy humans with no respect. I grew up in the middle of nowhere with lots of clean fields and dirt roads, trash was obvious, so maybe I just have a super aware eye for it. But what's really bugging me lately is this new form of popular litter...the floss pick.

Like a good citizen I do my best to try and recycle things that I know can/should be recycled, but I wonder how many batches of paper recycling I have ruined in my life after finding out that pizza boxes stained with grease can ruin entire batches of recycled cardboard? According to RecycleBank.com recycling said pizza boxes is a big no-no.
