Speeding and Traffic Camera Ban in Colorado Produces Study on Effectiveness
So, I have been following this story - here is the latest update. The measure to ban speeding and red-light cameras has produced a study on their effectiveness.
The Denver Channel reports, A House committee voted to amend Senate Bill 181 Monday after several law enforcement officials urged lawmakers not to outlaw the cameras. They told lawmakers they've successfully used the devices at intersections they consider dangerous.
Legislators opposing the devices still insist they are only being used as revenue generators and they don't increase public safety.
