Bikini Clad Opera Singer on America’s Got Talent [VIDEO]

In front of a national audience she comes out, starts to sing and what happens next has people scratching their heads on why?

Everyone was quite surprised when this woman started to sing, but then she takes her dress off to reveal a red bikini.

Howard Stern is noticeably confused on why she did it, saying that it even took away from her performance.  But Howie Mandel, took a considerably different stance.

Howie Mandel looked at it from a stereotype point of view.  What may be the stereotype for an opera singer, isn't necessarily reality.  That her performance may have opened the eyes of people to the world of opera.

What do you think?  Tasteless and took away from her performance or was there maybe another motive behind this?
