We have all heard of the Sadie Hopkins dance were the roles are reversed and the girl's ask the boys to the dance, but a school in Toronto went a little bit further.  They planned of having an "Opposite Gender Day", where kids as young as six would be able to come to school dressed as the opposite sex.  The idea behind it was to get the kids (kindergarten- 8th grade) to hopefully understand what is like to be a member of the opposite sex. In theory a good idea to teach tolerance and understanding, but they had to pull the themed day due to an outcry of the parents. I think the heart was there but I  am not sure they thought it through enough.
