What Is The Salty Donut Shop?

Back in 2024, it was all a dream for Amanda Pizarro and Andy Rodriguez who pushed in all of their "chips" into the center of the table and took a gamble on something they truly believed in.

Their goal was to create "a place you could have a first date, celebrate a birthday, or cheer you up after a long day," so they bought an old school camper, leased a small kitchen, and began to crank out what would become "The Salty" donuts.

The Salty Donut Shop Opens First Colorado Location

19 locations across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Texas was fine, but that round number 20 had a much nicer ring to it. So they headed out west, but not quite to Beverly Hills just yet... They chose Denver, Colorado as its newest location and its furthest location west as of now.

The Viral "Salty" Donut Shop Is Now Open In Colorado And Is Fantastic

The Salty Donut Shop opened its first location in Colorado to a massive line on Friday, September 27th. After being featured all over your social media feeds, as well as ESPN, People, and even Forbes, people knew they had to be first in line to try these delicious sweet treats.

We joined in the opening weekend fun, and loved our first experience at the Salty.
