The very popular Fischer Price Rock 'n Play Sleeper is being recalled due to the potential for mold development causing infant respiratory problems. I loved this sleeper because it was taller and more sturdy than other ones, plus as advertised, is a great position for babies with reflux. I never had a problem with mold, but I only used it during the summer months.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says this is what you need to do if you have one of these products:

Consumers should immediately check for mold under the removable seat cushion. Dark brown, gray or black spots can indicate the presence of mold. If mold is found, consumers should immediately stop using the product. Consumers can contact Fisher-Price for cleaning instructions or further assistance. Cleaning and care instructions can also be found at www.service.mattel.com or by contacting the firm.
