Palisade Peach Festival Returns This Summer
The western slopes of Colorado are rich in agriculture and are known for some of the most amazing produce in the world. Up until a few years ago, I was never a fan of peaches. That all changed the day I decided to be brave and give a Palisade Peach a try. They are now a late summer staple in our household here in Northern Colorado.
The Palisade Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Palisade Peach Festival will return this summer after being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2021 Palisade Peach Festival will happen from Thursday, August 19 through Saturday, August 21 in downtown Palisade, Colorado. Festivities this year include:
- Peach Parade
- Live Music
- Peach Pit Bar
- 5k and 10k Peachy Race
- Peach BBQ throwdown
- Peach eating contest
- Growers booths
If you are planning on attending the 53rd Annual Palisade Peach Festival in Palisade please be advised that no pets are allowed at the festival. The Palisade Chamber of Commerce says that if you are planning on bringing your four-legged companion to Palisade, you can take your pet to one of the local kennels that will take good care of your companion while you enjoy the festival in August.
