In just one day, over 300 animals found loving homes during the Clear the Shelters event. Pass the tissues, please.

Saturday, August 18 marked the annual nationwide 'Clear the Shelters' day. Thirteen shelters in Colorado participated this year in waiving adoption fees in hopes of getting every animal adopted, including two in Northern Colorado.

At Longmont Humane Society, 127 animals went home with new families, and in Loveland, Larimer Humane Society celebrated #emptykennelsfullhearts as they parted ways with 188 animals, which means 315 animals now have loving families.

I'm not crying, you're crying.
