Remember back in 2004 when all of the Nuggets and Avalance games were moved to the new Altitude TV Network, which was owned and controlled by team owner Stan Kroenke?

It wasn't very pleasant to most fans at first, but then once they figured out that Altitude was on their cable or satellite provider, they loved it. Fast forward to August of 2019 when Dish, Comcast, and DirecTV all dropped the popular Altitude TV Channels because of a dispute over the cost of running the channel's content.

20 Nuggets And Avalanche Games Will Air For Free On 9News And My20

For the first time in 5 years, Colorado sports without DirecTV or FuboTV will be able to watch 20 Nuggets and 20 Avalanche games for free, live on Channels 9 or 20 with both channels running 10 games each for both teams. But that's not the only way you'll get to watch, especially if 20 games still aren't enough.

When Alitutude first lost its TV deals, the majority of the fan feedback was to start a streaming channel on their app, but in 2019 that was a lot more difficult. Now in 2024, the teams are excited to announce the launch of Altitude+ which will be an app based streaming platform for the Altitude TV Networks starting this season.

Altitude TV Now Offering Altitude+ Steaming App For Nuggets And Avalanche Games

Alititude+ will be a direct-to-consumer streaming service available to all Nuggets and Avs fans for only $19.95 per month starting in mid-October. That means that you'll now be able to watch all of your favorite Altitude TV content, including all of the Avs and Nuggets games that Altitude covers on your phone, tablets, and smart TVs.

The teams are the best they've ever been, with both the current NBA and NHL MVPs in Joker and McKinnon, and we've missed so much of their dominance with this Altitude TV fight so this news is so exciting!
