Northern Colorado Drop-Off Locations for National Drug Take Back Day
In an effort to prevent pill abuse and theft, the Drug Enforcement Administration is giving the public an opportunity to safely dispose of expired, unused, or unwanted prescription drugs with National Drug Take Back Day, which is happening on Saturday, April 30.
Northern Colorado law enforcement has partnered with the following municipal agencies to offer collection points throughout the community from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Medications stored in home cabinets are very susceptible to diversion, misuse, and abuse, and flushing them down the toilet or throwing them in the trash poses potential safety and health hazards, the Weld County Sheriff's Office says in a press release.
