While some Colorado Walmart locations already have restaurants located at the front of their stores, are they looking to add restaurants back to the locations that closed their restaurants, or make a change to those already in place?

New Restaurants Coming To Colorado Walmart Locations?

I remember as a kid, there used to be a small snack bar inside of the old Walmart in Thornton, Colorado. Not a ton of food options, but it did the trick. I'll never forget how jealous I was when they built a McDonald's inside of the location on 92nd and Sheridan in Westminster.

For years, having a McDonald's inside of Walmart Supercenter was the norm, but in recent years that partnership has become less and less.

Seeing a Subway, Charlie's Cheesesteaks, or even a Burger King has become way more common. My local Walmart in Longmont has nothing. What are they doing with that space? We might finally have answers.

Uncle Sharkii Restaurants Coming To Colorado?

Walmart has announced its partnership with Hawaiin-inspired Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar, intending to add new locations inside many of its stores nationwide beginning in 2024.

What Is Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar Restaurant?

Starting in 2018, Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar set out on a mission to "offer a streamline of healthy menu items for the family on the go."

Famous for its popular "poke bowl," which is diced raw fish served over fresh veggies, they also serve up fantastic boba milk teas and a variety of delicious Dole Whip!

The Walmart and Uncle Sharkii partnership has begun in California, with 10 locations to open by late spring. From there, the nationwide expansion will begin. While nothing is confirmed for Colorado, empty restaurant spaces like in the Longmont location lead us to believe it's pretty likely that Colorado will soon be getting our very first Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar restaurant. Bring on the Dole Whip!
