The suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Adam Slattery. Officials confirmed Slattery is a former student and took classes at the school last semester but was not enrolled in any courses this year.

Slattery is still in custody with the Lake County Sheriff and is being uncooperative in the investigation. Slattery faces charges of false reporting of explosives, resisting arrest, menacing, criminal extortion, and harassment.

After being taken into custody yesterday, Slattery remains at the Lake County Sheriff's Office, where he has been uncooperative with the ongoing investigation.

During a news conference on Tuesday morning, Lake County Sheriff Rodney Fenske said, Slattery "wasn't happy with his grades."

On Monday the campus was put on lockout while 106 people were on campus. Around 40 people were evacuated, and the remaining students and staff were moved to the cafeteria while the bomb squad, along with two bomb-sniffing dogs, investigated a backpack near the library.

Classes resumed Tuesday morning at the school.
