Man Arrested After His House Blows Up in Southwest Loveland
Can you be arrested for blowing up your own house? You can if you are making drugs when it happens. A 36-year-old man could face drug and arson charges after his home exploded Tuesday night in southwest Loveland.
According to the Coloradoan, the explosion happened at 1947 Lily Drive in Loveland, near Dotsero Avenue and West First Street. Loveland police and Loveland Fire Rescue Authority personnel found a heavily damaged home. The explosion was contained, and officers deemed the explosion the result of manufacturing hash oil.
Police arrested the resident, Neil Frazzini, on suspicion of manufacturing marijuana or marijuana concentrate, as well as arson. He is being held in the Larimer County Detention Center.
No injuries were reported, and no other homes were damaged.
