If you're looking for a new job in the next few months, your next stop could be working for either a Safeway or Albertsons in Northern Colorado.
According to the Coloradoan, both Albertsons and Safeway locations throughout Northern Colorado will be adding new positions to the workforce in the coming months for jobs in different departments. These positions include but are not limited to the meat, deli, customer service, produce, and bakery departments.
The positions will be available all across Northern Colorado including Fort Collins, Windsor, Longmont, Greeley, Estes Park, and Loveland. They will be in both the full time and part time capacities.
The article states that benefits will include: paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, employee discount, health insurance benefits, and retirement benefits through a pension plan or 401k.
Here's how you can apply for one of the many jobs the supermarket company will be offering:
- Apply online by visiting either the Albertsons or Safeway website
- There will also be open interviews at all stores from 10a - 2p on Wednesdays and Saturdays through August 1st
The two chains combined in January to make the company the second largest supermarket chain in the country. The Denver division of the chain employs over 10,000 people and operates 132 stores in the region.
