Ever wanted to make your own cheese? Colorado State University Extension, Weld County, will offer a workshop on cheese making on Saturday, June 16, at the Exhibition Building at Island Grove Park, 525 N 15th Avenue, Greeley. The workshop is intended for those interested in learning the basics of cheese making.

Cheese maker, Ripley Casdorph, and CSU Grad Student and cheese specialist, Caitlin Clark, will present on topics including:

  • History of Cheese Making
  • Cheese Making Basics
  • Food Safety
  • Types of Cheeses.
  • There will be a hands-on cheese-making experience for participants.
