Larimer Humane Celebrates First Adoption After Reopening
Tyson now has a fur-ever home, and he was the first dog to find a new family after the Larimer Humane Society reopened for adoptions on April 27, when Colorado's Stay-at-Home Order was lifted.
Right now, animal adoptions are by appointment only, and there are important safety guidelines that the shelter is asking its guests to follow, per the LHS website.
First, make an appointment over the phone at 970-226-3647, ext. 0. When you arrive, please wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth, and practice six foot social distancing. Right now, you cannot place holds on animals, and can see up to two on your visit. Adoptable animals can be viewed online.
No social visits or tours of the shelter can happen at this time. Read more about how to adopt from LHS here.
