You’ll Want to Check Out These New Art Creation Spots in Colorado – Based Out of Hawaii
Date nights in Colorado: You've gone out to do pottery nights, or "paint and sip" nights, here comes a very unique art space for young ones as well as adults. No talent needed.
Opening in early 2034, you can say you were one of the first in Colorado to check out one of these new spots, where you create masterpieces, where science and art come together.
Many things came out of the pandemic, including this woman's "lockdown hobby" which gave birth to a chain of these neat art creation shops.
What Is Hawaii Fluid Art?
While Hawaii Fluid Art is the name of the business, it is also the name of the main creating experience they offer. The "paints" are made with different materials, like metals and or plant-based materials. You pour the given paint onto your canvas and then move the canvas to direct the paint.
Why Is it Called 'Hawaii Fluid Art?'
The business was started by a former Wells Fargo banker who lived in Hawaii. While living there, during the pandemic, she took up watercolors and other painting endeavors and then kind of "stumbled" onto this process.
How Much Are Sessions at 'Hawaii Fluid Art?'
They run from $25 for kids projects up to $172 for a one-hour large canvas project for two people.
Do They Have Drinks at 'Hawaii Fluid Art?'
Of the 30+ locations, some have BYOB policies and some do have liquor licenses. We'll have to see how it goes when the Colorado ones open.
Where Are the Colorado 'Hawaii Fluid Art' Locations as of 2024?
They will be opening in early 2024 in Fort Collins at Front Range Village next to DSW, and in Boulder on Pearl Street near 17th Street.
