The Colorado Rockies are one of Colorado's favorite teams; regardless of how their seasons go. Whether from their days at Mile High Stadium to the games at Coors Field, we love to go.

Colorado Rockies' Worst Beat-Downs in Team History

When you consider that the team has played over 5,000 games of baseball, having only five really bad games is not bad.

It's hard to be a Coloradan and not have some love for the Colorado Rockies. Sure, they're overall record is a losing one (2322-2703,) but when it's time for that home opener every season, Coors Field is packed with fans rooting them on.

It's hard to not love a day of going to a Rockies game: Usually the weather is great, the stadium is amazing, and (hopefully) the Rockies play great and get a "W." Seeing the players out there on the field, while holding a cold beverage makes for a nice spring or summer day.

Sure, we'd rather that the Rockies won more games than they lose, but as attendance numbers will show, most Coloradans just love getting to Coors Field. Each season there seems to be something new to check out there, whether it be about amenities (the rooftop bar) or new foods.

There have been so many great games for the Rockies, like when they crushed the San Diego Padres, 20-1 in the 2005 season. The 2007 season was fantastic, as they made it to the World Series (thought they got swept 4-0 by the Red Rox.)

Every team has "highs" and "lows," and their fans still love them, like we do the Rockies.

Some truly great players have worn the Rockies uniform, however, you'll find only one in the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. We could have a discussion about the greatest Colorado Rockies players ever, or we could have a more subjective talk about favorite players. While there is some crossover, there is a difference and there is a lot of room to be different.
