Favorite Toppings in the U.S.
Based on their results, pepperoni proved to be the most beloved pizza topping throughout the nation, taking the top spot in 29 different states. The salty circles are also the second choice in an additional 17 states.
Bacon and sausage followed as the second and third most popular toppings across the country. The fourth and fifth most-favored items to add to pizzas are peppers and mushrooms.

Ranking bottom across all 50 states, anchovies stood out as the most hated accompaniment when it comes to adding items to a pizza.
