It’s Always Christmas at This Famous Colorado Theme Park
Christmas in Colorado during the summer? Yup. If you love the Christmas season and crave it all year, this popular Colorado theme park is just what you need in your life.
Famous Colorado Theme Park Celebrates Christmas Year Round
Like many others in Colorado and around the world, I am a giant Christmas fan. My wife tries to slow down the tree going up each year but we've settled on November 1st as the day we take down Halloween, and up goes the tree. We can't go all out on decorations until the weekend after Thanksgiving but I'll take what I can get. Christmas to me is a total vibe. People seem friendlier, more willing to give and help, and just look out for one another. I love bringing smiles and joy to people's faces, so to me it really is about the giving and never the receiving. Especially as a parent. What if I told you that you could get that Christmas spirit flowing without having to deal with the dark snow, and cold? Well, you can!
Colorado's North Pole Amusement Park
For nearly 70 years, near the base of Pikes Peak, the Northpole, home of Santa's Workshop, has brought smiles to millions of boys & girls with its magical theme park. With nearly 30 rides and attractions, plus good ole St. Nick himself, this one-of-a-kind, incredibly special amusement park is a must-visit for any family living in, or visiting Colorado.
My dad took my younger brother and me to the North Pole a few times as kids and we absolutely loved it. It's not changed a ton, which is what makes it such a classic. In fact, we have pictures next to their iconic candy cane slide. I took my kids when my son was just 1 year old, so now that he's almost 7, I think it's time for another trip up the hill to see old St. Nick. The North Pole is now open for the season, through December as long as the crazy Colorado weather cooperates, and you can see their full hours here. Merry Christmas in summer, Colorado!
