Investigators are seeking the public's help solving a residential burglary in Kersey, Colorado.

In a news release, the Weld County Sheriff's Office said the owner of a residence in the 21000 block of Weld County Road 53 in Kersey came home on Wednesday, July 6, between 4 and 5:27 p.m. to a grey pickup truck backed up to the door. The victim witnessed 3 or 4 Hispanic males run out of the residence and into the truck, which hit a tree as they tried to avoid the victim's vehicle.

The pickup truck is described as a dark grey 2005-2010 Duramax Diesel style pickup with unreadable temporary tags. It will have a damaged side window and a broken radio antenna as a result of hitting the tree.
