On a hike on Wednesday (October 20) afternoon, Townsquare Media Northern Colorado market president Evan Harrison snapped these photos of a firefighter tent shelter near Horsetooth Mountain.

Tents of all shapes and sizes litter the base of the 'A', near the disc golf field by Horsetooth Reservoir. Nearby, lined along fences, were messages of support from the local community to the Poudre County Firefighters. After a long day of fighting the fire, they return to these tents, even as temperatures drop overnight here in Northern Colorado.

More than 1,000 firefighters are fighting the Cameron Peak Fire, including those from out of state (yes, even Alaska and Hawaii). The wildfire is now officially over 206,000 acres.
