We talked with representatives from Loveland to get the scoop about all of the October festivities going on. Here are six local events that you won't want to miss:

 1. Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt (now - October 31)

There are currently 26 scarecrows scattered across Loveland, and the City wants you to find them. The best part? Each unique scarecrow is courtesy of a local artist or business.

"[There's] just some fun different ones to go and find," said Abby Powell, Events Director for the Loveland Downtown District, in our "Tuned In to NoCo" interview. "Kudos to those artists that have made some really neat ones out there."

Participants also have the chance to win prizes. Find out how to register for the scavenger hunt here.

2. Harrington's Haunted House (now - Oct. 31)

Looking for a good scare? The Harrington Arts Alliance is hosting its 11th annual haunted house at The Promenade Shops at Centerra.

"I was there this weekend and it's fantastic," said Tiffany Villavicencio, General Manager for the Promenade Shops at Centerra. "Plan to scream, but it's absolutely wonderful."

There will also be a kids' version of the haunted house on Halloween. Find out how to get tickets here.

3. Creepy Walk in the Woods (now - Oct. 30)

Treat yourself to a spooky weekend with the Creepy Walk in the Woods. Located at 1750 Savage Road, the "top-rated supernatural event" is full of frightening fun.

"You will definitely hear a lot of screams coming from the Savage Woods because they have that whole thing decked out," said Cindy Mackin, Visitors Services Manager for the City of Loveland. "It's just an amazing setting...it is quite the experience."

The event is not recommended for children under 11 years of age. Learn more about the Creepy Walk here.

4. Halloween Hullabaloo Drive-In (Oct. 29 - Oct. 30)

The Halloween Hullabaloo is returning to The Marketplace at Centerra on October 29 and 30. The event is free, but donations to Loveland's House of Neighborly Service (HNS) are greatly appreciated.

"We are thrilled to be bringing back the Halloween Hullabaloo...it is our 15th year of celebrating," said Celeste Smith, Senior Marketing Manager for McWhinney. "It will definitely be a fun-filled weekend."

"[It's] a really big event for families with kiddos who want to be safe and still maybe are a little bit worrisome or conscious about being in person with others," said Christine Forrester, owner of My Big Day Events. "It's a really great alternative."
