Garage sales are always going to have a special place in my heart. When I was younger, my grandma used to take my cousin and I what we called "garage sailing". It was always fun to look through them and see what kind of goodies you could get. We usually ended up getting some pretty sweet stuff.

My cousin and I would usually find toys which were great but we always went for the weird obscure kind of stuff. The kind of stuff that have been stored in basements and forgotten about until the random cleaning of the house. We had some pretty good imaginations so we always found a use for stuff. It was just a matter if we could convince our grandma to get it for us and how well I could barter.

Everytime I go to garage sales, I remember those days and I smile. Its good to hold on to those moments. As an added bonus, when I go to garage sales now as an adult, I don't have to beg to get something and I can usually find toys from my childhood. I always tend to buy those because I want to share them with my future kids and those toys are so much better than the toys that are out now. :)

Maybe you have some memories or maybe you want to find some stuff from the past, or even present! Whatever the case may be, make sure you join us this Saturday (June 1st) at the Outlets in Loveland!
