Banana Clips Sending Me Down Memory Lane [Picture]

I was out yard saling this weekend and was sent down memory lane when I came across a basket of old school, neon colored banana clips. Not the kind you can buy in the store now, but the real straight, hard clipping kind we wore in the late 80's. This is one of the reasons yard sales and antique stores are so fascinating and fun to explore. Trips down memory lane feel good. These clips were a part of a very important time in my life where I would stand in front of the mirror and get the perfect pull and clip of hair for the day. This was a time where I was figuring out what felt pretty to me. Feeling feminine and confident after several attempts to get it right.
