Four Unique Places to Tie the Knot in Northern Colorado
Spring time means wedding time, and if you want that special day to be simple, unique and packed with Northern Colorado charm, here are a few places that may be the perfect venue.
The Johnson's Corner Chapel
Don't laugh, but I'm being serious. If you want to skip the planning and stress, then eloping with the one you love may be the way to go, but why not make it a little more fun than running to the nearest courthouse? You can even have a 'world famous' cinnamon roll instead of a wedding cake.
The truck stop chapel will really give you that 'runaway lovers' feeling. (I did it once.)
The CSU Oval
Obviously romantic if you are a CSU alum, but even if you aren't that could be one heck of an aisle to walk down in the spring.
The Virginia Dale Community Church
Just a few miles south of the abandoned Virginia Dale Cafe, you would think this chapel would be, too. The chapel is still used for weekly church services, and its guest book but for the most part, it sits quietly on the side of Highway 287, towards the Wyoming border. However, its 1880s charm (though it's a replica) can't be beat.
The Top of Bingham Hill
Just northwest of Fort Collins near Bellvue, the views are amazing.
