Fort Collins Woman Seeks Help to Find Stolen Engagement Ring, Car
A Fort Collins woman has made a Facebook plea to find a stolen engagement ring and car.
The incident allegedly started on Thursday, October 17 when Ty Goodwin's gym bag was stolen.
Before her workout, she had put her gym bag with her wallet, diamond engagement ring and car keys in her locker at Raintree Athletic Center.
Though a locker seems like a safe place to put your things during a workout, Ty Goodwin returned to the locker only to find that her things had been stolen.
To make matters worse, the thieves then stole her car that was in the parking lot.
In her car was her laptop and multiple other things she owned. Now, Ty Goodwin is asking the community for help. She took to the Facebook Group "Fort Collins Neighborhood Watch" to try to find the thief.
Ty said in a Facebook post, "I’m devastated about my ring. I just feel so overwhelmed and violated."
She is now asking for the community's help finding her black 2012 Jeep Liberty, license plate #431-ZCZ, and hopefully her other belongings as well.
The Jeep also has a white baby on board sticker, broken wind shield and a ski rack.
Ty's Facebook post also said, "police reports were filed, all available surveillance was viewed, no news yet".
