Police Make Arrest in Utah in Fort Collins Murder Investigation
An arrest has been made in the Fort Collins murder investigation. Fort Collins police detectives traveled to Ogden, Utah and assisted Davis County Sheriff Office detectives with the arrest of Dylan Joseph Thompson, of Fort Collins, on August 4. Thompson was arrested for the murder of William Grabusky. Thompson is currently in custody at the Davis County Jail in Farmington, Utah. No booking photo is available at this time.
Charges
Thompson was arrested on charges of: 1st Degree Murder, Tampering with a Deceased Human Body, Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft, and Unauthorized Use of a Financial Transaction Device.
Police are still investigating the connection between Thompson and Grabusky.

Fort Collins Police are in the middle of a murder investigation. On August 2, a family member of William Grabusky contacted Fort Collins Police to request a welfare check because she had not been able to reach him for several weeks.
When officers checked his residence in the 3400 block of Riva Ridge Place, they found a deceased person in the home. The Larimer County Coroner's Office identified the deceased person as 65-year-old William Grabusky and determined the manner of death was a homicide.
Detectives were unable to locate Grabusky’s vehicle, a gray 2016 Hyundai Elantra, Colorado license plate QRM176. If you see this vehicle, please report to police immediately.
