The concert scene in Fort Collins will be seeing another change, as the owners of the Mishawaka are now in charge of day-to-day operations of the Aggie.

The Coloradoan has the story on how the owners of the Mishawaka are now the owners of the Aggie Theater as well. They'll be teaming up with the talent buying agency Z2 Entertainment (they also handle act for the Mish) as Fort Collins Entertainment.

All staff members, including management, have been offered to stay on at the 'new' Aggie. Concerts previously booked will stay on the calendar, but be on the lookout for more diverse bands in the future. That will interesting to see!

They've begun doing some work to get the Aggie safer, including installing sprinklers and bringing in the security company that the Mishawaka uses. They'll also be making improvements to the stage and band areas.

It seems it was just yesterday, but it was 2010, that the original owner of the Aggie sold the business to Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom out of Denver.

This will be exciting!  I wonder what the first act the new team will be booking?
