AJ Can’t Stop Talking About the Eagles’ Amazing My First Game Experience. Here’s How to Get Involved.

I love seeing the smiles on kids' faces as they watch their first Colorado Eagles hockey game from the Section L stage, which overlooks the entire crowd. I always pick a few kids to shout "Go, Eagles" into the microphone while the whole thing is projected on the video board.

The crowd just goes nuts. Every. Single. Time.

It's all part of the Great Outdoors RV and Colorado Eagles' My First Game experience for kids ages 12 and younger. They are giving away packages including a complimentary ticket for the child and parent (two total), and a special visit from Slapshot and Myles the Moose to deliver a commemorative prize. We've already had two of these special experiences this season, but there are several more opportunities coming up.

My 6-year-old son, Max, has been to several Eagles games this season. We weren't able to go last season, since fans weren't allowed in the arena, but we're making up for lost time since 99.9 The Point is the new home for the Eagles. He's been to several so far — to the point that the arena workers and even a couple of players ask where he is when he misses one!
