Remember when you were a kid, and you used to say anything to talk your way out of being blamed for something, even if you really were guilty of doing something wrong?  Yeah, me too.  Unfortunately, some people don't get over that.

Michael F. West of Wisconsin was arrested in January for strangling and physically abusing his wife in a drunken rage, according to The Northwestern.  As if that wasn't bad enough, when police arrived and asked him how she received her injuries, honest to goodness, he said,

"A ghost did it."

Luckily, West was dealing with police officers and not Ghostbusters, and he was promptly arrested and charged with the crimes he had tried to blame on Casper.
