Rigged haunted houses are a big attraction for people of all ages around this time of year, but what about real haunted houses? Whether or not you believe in the myths and legends of haunted houses, ghosts and spirits, these real-life ghost stories will send enough chills down your spine to cool you off for fall without even having to experience the weather drop.

The hit Syfy television series "Ghost Hunters" is coming to an end this season, and with October right around the corner we wanted to look back at the paranormal investigations they did in the state of Colorado!

In our quest to investigate more of the ghost towns that litter the Colorado landscape, today our travels take us to Weld County's ghost town, Dearfield.

In the Rocky Mountains of Colorado is the town of Gilman, sitting at an elevation of 8,950 feet. While it is now considered a "ghost town", many people visit it yearly.

The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park is famous for being beautiful, the basis for the movie The Shining, and for being haunted. One visiting ghost hunter may finally have the proof, capturing a haunting figure in one of his photos.

The past couple weeks, I've felt ghosts grabbing me, hugging me, shutting doors, etc. in my own home, and it's really beginning to freak me out.

Aside from collecting pillow cases full of candy, one of my favorite things about Halloween night has always been seeing my dad scare trick-or-treaters with a fake skeleton or ghost descending toward them on a zip line as they walk up to the front door of my family's house...

Throw another movie franchise on the TV remake pile, as it seems Paramount Television looks to resurrect Patrick Swayze classic 'Ghost' on the small screen. 'Fringe' alumni Jeff Pinkner and Akiva Goldsman have been tasked with conjuring a pilot for the latest TV reboot, but what network would a potential 'Ghost' TV series land on?

Remember when you were a kid, and you used to say anything to talk your way out of being blamed for something, even if you really were guilty of doing something wrong?  Yeah, me too.  Unfortunately, some people don't get over that.

I have never seen this show, but I have heard about it. Basically it is like "punked" but, instead of using things that are real, they use horror and fear. I have to admit that it is pretty hilarious.
