Drug Smugglers Now Using Catapults

Drug smugglers have now reverted back to the medieval ages and are now using catapults to launch drugs over the Mexico/Arizona border.  National Guard troops using a remote video surveillance system at the Naco Border Patrol Station say they observed people preparing the catapult and launching packages over the border fence.  They alerted the Mexican authorities, who went to the location and disrupted the operation. Sadly the smugglers had left the scene, but the Mexican authorities seized 45 pounds of pot, an SUV and of course the catapult.

I wonder if they got the catapult second hand from Wile E. Coyote or if they got it straight from ACME.
