Denver7 and Local3 are airing a commercial-free conversation on the issue of implicit bias as part of the stations' commitment to the community.

"Hidden Bias of Good People" will air at 7 p.m. on Wednesday (March 10) on Denver7 and at 6 p.m. on Thursday (March 11) on Local3.

Bryant T. Marks, Ph.D., founder and chief equity officer of the National Training Institute on Race and Equity, is hosting the hour-long special, which will utilize interactive conversation to help viewers understand the concept of implicit bias, or "attitudes and beliefs that occur outside of our conscious awareness and control."

"We are proud to bring this special to our viewers here in Colorado," Dean Littleton, VP and General Manager at Denver7, said in a press release. "Conversations like this are important to have. They allow us to become more self-aware and help connect us with our neighbors in a new way."

Viewers can participate in a Facebook Live discussion with Denver7 after the special airs.

The station is also planning to produce more content surrounding the issue of implicit bias, including an in-depth series on race relations and stories focusing on equity, diversity and inclusion among employers and job seekers.

KCDO-TV Channel 3 rebranded as Local3 earlier this year. There, viewers can access Denver7's 360 reporting from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
