Summer is coming, and you know what that means: It's time to ditch the fancy hotels and your jacuzzi tub and head out into the wild.

Camping is such a huge part of our culture here in Colorado, mostly just because we live in one of the most beautiful states in the world. Something to remember, though, is that camping restrictions are now required for all state parks in Colorado. Colorado Parks and Wildlife says that you can book day-of stays or up to six months in advance.

Maybe you want to rough it. Maybe you're more the glamping type (yeah, that's me). Either way, there's a campsite for every type of outdoor enthusiast, and I've included 5 right here that you can book ASAP.

I love camping— and most recently, I went yurting in State Forest State Park. It's an incredible way to see firsthand Colorado's incredible wildlife: foxes, moose, hawks and more. While you camp, especially in the wintertime, make sure you make time for one of Colorado's beautiful hot springs as well, a list of which you can find right here.
