Denver, Colorado Named 15th Drunkest City In The Country By the Daily Beast

The Daily Beast has released it's list of the "25 Drunkest Cities 2012" and Denver, Colorado made the list at #15.

Uhh....cheers?Here are Denver's stats they used for the ranking:

• Avg. alcoholic drinks consumed by adults per month: 14.4
• Percentage of population classified as binge drinkers: 16.8%
• Percentage of population classified as heavy drinkers: 5.1%

Now the drunkest city in America title belongs to Boston, Massachusetts. Their stats came back at 5.6 alcoholic drinks per month, 20.1%  binge drinkers and 7.4% heavy drinkers.

This is actually good news for Denver, in 2011 big D ranked #13 on the same list.

Hooray for Denverites being slightly less drunk.
