CSU Basketball Coach Goes Viral For Recreating Historic Shot

While March Madness has been canceled for 2020, Colorado State University helped recreate one of the NCAA Tournament's most memorable moments in a viral Twitter video.

Rams men's basketball assistant coach Ali Farokhmanesh re-enacted his famous 3-pointer from 2010 that came with 35 seconds left and helped the University of Northern Iowa upset top-seeded Kansas.

The video was shared on March 20, exactly 10 years after the clutch shot was made.

This time, Farokhmanesh used his wife Mallory and children Tai, Mila and Liam as teammates — to hilarious results.

Farokhmanesh has been a CSU assistant for two seasons under head coach Niko Medved. He also previously served under Medved at Drake University.
