It’s that time of year where you make sure you have enough cash in your wallet when you go to work because somebody’s kid is sure to be selling Girl Scout cookies.

One savvy 13-year-old Girl Scout in San Francisco and her mom made an unusual decision to sell cookies outside of a medical marijuana dispensary. They got permission from the store and were able to sell 117 boxes in just two hours!

Now I know what you’re thinking if your daughter is part of the Girl Scouts of Colorado. Kelly Parisi, the chief communications officer from Girl Scouts of the USA, told Mashable that each region of Girl Scouts has its individual guidelines.

Here’s what you need to know: The Girl Scouts of Colorado sent out a tweet (which has now been deleted) expressing disapproval of the situation and said, If you are wondering, we don’t allow our Girl Scouts to sell cookies in front of marijuana shops or liquor stores/bars.
