If you were planning on enjoying the fall weather with a picnic this week, you may want to reconsider.

Heavy smoke will hit the front range on Thursday and Friday, blowing in from the Cameron Peak Fire and the Wyoming Mullen Fire.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment issued an 'Action Day for Fine Particulates' for all of the front range, as reported by the Denver Channel. Residents are asked to limit their outdoor activity.

As of Thursday (Oct. 1) morning official reports, the Cameron Peak Fire is burning over 125,006 Acres with 30% containment and the Mullen Fire that has spread from Wyoming into Colorado is at 117,420 acres.
