Cameron Peak Fire Just 1 Mile From Rocky Mountain National Park
Part of the Cameron Peak Fire now burns a mile from Rocky Mountain National Park, the Coloradoan confirmed on Tuesday. If you were thinking of going to visit the natural area this weekend, you may want to reconsider.
The park, as well as the state of Colorado, is currently under a fire ban. Rocky Mountain National Park has closed several of their trails as well and road closures are expected.
