When you think back on the 1990's you might think about flannel shirts, ninja turtles, bleach-blonde hair, 'Seinfeld', 'Friends' and the 'Jennifer' hair cut. But what music shaped the 90's?

Rolling stone had their readers take a look back at the music of the 90's to find the worst song of the decade. Topping the list, the Danish-Norwegian pop outfit named Aqua and their disgustingly infectious song "Barbie Girl." How that song sold 8 million records, and topped 13 different music charts in 11 countries, I'll never know.

What other songs made the top ten?

Worst songs of the 90's, according to Rolling Stone readers:

  1. Aqua, "Barbie Girl"
  2. Los Del Rio, "Macarena"
  3. Billy Ray Cyrus, "Achy Breaky Heart"
  4. Vanilla Ice, "Ice Ice Baby"
  5. Chumbawamba, "Tubthumping"
  6. Hanson, "MMMBop"
  7. Celine Dion, "My Heart Will Go On"
  8. Baha Men, "Who Let The Dogs Out?"
  9. Right Said Fred, "I'm Too Sexy"
  10. 4 Non Blondes, "What's Up?"

The sad thing, I think I have all of those songs on CD somewhere. And I could probably sing a long with every single one.

But the 90's were full of terrible songs, what about "The Thong Song", "Rico Suave" or anything from the Vengaboys?!

Is there another gloriously horrrible 90's songs that should have made this list? Share it below.
