If you are going to plan on flying with Allegiant, you might want to do it soon. Allegiant has declared that they are going to end their service from the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport by mid-October. Allegiant keeps a regular schedule flying to Phoenix and Las Vegas from the airport. Airport Manager, Jason Licon, says that he was shocked by this announcement. Allegiant has yet to say why the are stopping and if it is permanent .

Allegian is the airports only regularly scheduled commercial carrier, and the fees it paid provided a large portion of the facility’s annual budget. It also allowed the airport to qualify for significant federal grants.
