Following the conclusion of the 2021 college football season, Colorado State's football program — as you may or may not know — underwent major changes.

During the off-season, CSU landed itself a promising new head coach, a determined and dedicated new coaching staff, and added several new, talented players to the team's roster.

Simply put, if there was any year to root for the Rams — this is the year.

Luckily, there are some seriously fun ways to root on the Rams, at home and beyond.

Tailgating At Colorado State University

One of the best ways to enjoy a gameday in Fort Collins is to attend a Colorado State tailgate.

What is a tailgate, you might ask? Simply put, tailgates are one big outdoor party equipped with food drinks, games, music, and more. Tailgates are essentially the best way to get hyped up before a Rams game.

About Colorado State Tailgates: For all home games at CSU's Canvas Stadium, tailgating begins 4 hours prior to kickoff and concludes 30 minutes before kickoff.

The university has partnered with REVELxp, the nation's leader in premium tailgate and event services, in an effort to provide Rams Fans the best possible tailgate experience — from a full range of pregame tailgate options to reserved locations right outside Canvas Stadium, there are different options for everyone, no matter what kind of tailgate you're trying to have.

Student Tailgates: Are you a student at Colorado State? If so, student tailgating for home football games is not only for all students at Colorado State University but is a great way to get involved in campus life at CSU -plus, it's free!

As per CSU's website, all students are welcome and encouraged to attend these tailgates before kickoff; festivities will be spread out near the stadium with Ram Town taking place in the intramural fields and additional events along the Raw Walk along Meridian.
