Although I have a slight fear of heights, I still dream of skydiving someday. However, bungee jumping always just looked just plain scary to me. And an Australian woman just survived, what would be one of my worst nightmares.

22-year-old Erin Langworthy survived at 364-foot fall into the crocodile infested waters of the Zambezi River after her bungee cord snapped! Falling, drowning, being eaten alive…nothing fazes this woman!

She suffered only a broken collarbone and some cuts and bruises in the fall, which happened on New Year’s Eve. To say it was a miracle might be selling the story short and the whole thing was caught on video (see below).

Thankfully the cord at least slowed her fall before she hit the rapids below, but after it snapped and sent her plunging under the frigid surface Langworthy had to dive back under the water to unravel the cord wrapped around her feet. She then had to swim to the river bank and hope the crocodiles didn’t get to her before help did.

ABC reported that nearly 50,000 had made that same jump in the past decade, and not one cord had ever broken before.

Check out the video from ABC News:

And in a show of either courage...or stupidity...or stubborness (maybe a little of each), Langworthy told ABC that she'd actually considering bungee jumping again, just "not anytime soon".

If I was just on-the-fence about bungee jumping before, I think I'll completely cross it off of my list now.

Wow. Simply, and incredible story.
