Vanilla Ice Wants to Renovate Your House

Vanilla Ice wants to come to do some repairs on your house. Seriously, Ice’s new passion is for home renovation. He even has his own show on the DIY Network. And now he’s giving away a $30,000 room makeover as part of that show.

In his words, “If there is a problem, yo, I’ll solve it.”

The winning renovation will be documented and shown as a one-hour special called “VIP: Ice My House.” It should air sometime in early 2012. Sign up or read more about the 'Ice My House' contest here.

How cool would that be? Vanilla Ice redoing my carpet and hanging some new curtain rods, it would be alike a dream come true. Or at least something I could tell my grand kids someday.

I can envision the conversation with my neighbors now.

"Whoa Beano, is that Vanilla Ice?!"

"Yeah"

"Why is he at your house?"

"He's hangin' a ceiling fan."

Just in case you were living under a rock in the 90's:  Vanilla Ice (born Robert Matthew Van Winkle), is best known for his hit song "Ice Ice Baby" and for those epic stripes he shaved in the side of his head. He has also made himself a name in the motocross and reality TV worlds.
