The Jam is happening this Sunday in Fort Collins and on top of all the fun stuff to do there will be a battle of the bands between our finalists;  Just Another Day, Shatterproof, Opaque, and The Gremlins.

Read on to find out what The Gremlins are about. (And don't forget to get your tickets to come out for the live music this Sunday!)

The Gremlins

Members:

  • Max Williams, 15-year-old sophomore at Rocky Mountain High School – guitar and vocals
  • Aidan Hilinski, 14-year-old sophomore at Poudre High School - bass
  • Riley Williams, 13-year-old 8th grader at Lincoln Middle School – drums and vocals

The Gremlins were originally inspired by listening to classic blues and rock. The Gremlins have developed a style that encompasses the music from Chuck Berry to Jack White with a heavy dose of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix.

All the members are multi-instrumentalists and have performed classical and jazz as well. They owe much to the local musicians who have been their mentors including, but not limited to, John Franzen, Roger Barnhardt, Oscar de Soto, and Adam Grosso.

Our favorite thing about Northern Colorado? We love the access to the mountains and outdoor recreation, the Poudre River, bike trails, Old Town, and the various music festivals. We also appreciate the astonishingly generous local community for all the opportunities and support.

Check out The Gremlins online and come out and cheer 'em on this Sunday at The Jam, crowd reaction will be part of the judging!
