In relativity to some of the other fires burning across Colorado, the Woodland Heights Fire was small. As far as destruction goes, it was anything but small. 24 structures including 22 homes were lost in the blaze that burned only 27.3 acres. Officials have determined the fire was likely caused by an electrical line rubbing against a pine tree during high winds.

The Woodland Heights Fire destroyed 20 homes in Estes Park over the weekend. ***3:15pm UPDATE*** According to the Coloradoan, at least 16 homes have been destroyed in what they are calling the "Woodland Heights Fire".  20-acres have been lost so far and everyone within a 1-mile radius is being evacuated. The fire is burning entirely in the Estes Park town limits, near the Beaver Meadows Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.
