New High Park Fire Evacuations For Many Thunders Road

Bad news, it sounds like the High Park Fire has jumped the Poudre River and Highway 14 at Stevens Gulch. The Larimer Sheriff tweeted that new immediate evacuation orders have been issued for 80 more homes in the Glacier View area. (Including Many Thunders Road south into 12th filing.)

They also stated that due to the new immediate evacuation orders, the 7:30 Community Meeting tonight has been cancelled.

Issued 6/14/12 @ 0515 p.m. by Jennifer Hillmann, Public Information Officer

A new immediate evacuation order has been issued for the Glacier View area from Many Thunders Road south into the 12th filing. This is for approximately 80 homes. This area includes:

• Meadow Mountain Drive
• Little Bald Mountain Court
• Grey's Peak Court
• Diamond Peak Court
• Little Twins Court
• Red Mountain Court
• Pingree Hill Court
• Rabbit Ears Court
• Bullrock Court
• Black Mountain Court

The roadblock is at Eiger and Many Thunder Mountain.
